In her lifetime, Fanny Crosby wrote over 8000 Hymns of the Faith. Born in the early 1800’s outside of New York City, Fanny became blind at a young age. Raised by her Mother and Grandmother after losing her father when she was 6 months old, she grew to be a household name by the late eighteenth century as the “Queen of Gospel Songwriters”.    Some of her best-known songs include “Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior”, “Blessed Assurance”, “Praise Him, Praise Him”, “Rescue the Perishing”, and “To God Be The Glory”.    Come experience her story in this musical drama. Hear from Fanny (Kayla Rupp), Fanny’s Grandmother (Shelly Brown), and Fanny’s Best friend (Michaela Brown), as you hear the stories that will bring her songs to life!

Production of The Life & Hymns of Fanny Crosby will run the last two weekends of February – February 21st, 22nd, 28th, and March 1st at The Browns Century Theater in Le Mars, IA
